FAITH TO RISE!

John 5:6-8 (King James Version)
"When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk"
Have you ever felt as if you've been in the same situation way too long? Finances not right, family issues, career off track, etc. The situation you desire to change the most is stagnant. When we read about the man by the pool, he had been laying there a long time, and in his condition a long time. He watched others walk into their deliverance, while he still remained the same. He could have given up and went away, but then he would have missed Jesus. There may be times in our lives when no one around us can change our condition, but if we hold on, Jesus is coming by. Even when it seems like everyone else is getting in the pool before us, we can't get bitter or give up. If we allow circumstances to paralyze us, or cause us to quit, we could miss our opportunity to rise and walk into our deliverance.

Mark 9:23
"Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth"

Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint"

It is a blessing to find your solemate. My father passed away in February of this year. Today would have been my parents 55th wedding anniversary.

Proverbs 18:22
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

JESUS BRING THE RAIN

I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray

Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain

I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what's a little rain
So I pray

Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty

GOD'S CAKE

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or
"Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful
explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything
is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up
with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter
if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely
Mom, I love your cake."

"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers.
"Yuck" says her daughter.
"How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"
"Mom, those are all yucky!"

To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad
all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right
way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! "

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He
would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God
knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they
always work for good! We just have to trust Him and,
eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you.
He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.
He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

Life may not be the party we hoped for,
but while we are here we might as well dance.

This how the night should have ended

Fishing 4 Poop

My topic today is my 19 year old Ashleigh.. she received a scholarship to TCU, and her major is Psychology. She is smart and very friendly. In high school she was one of the most popular girls, and was prom queen. But she no different from Kahlyb.
She wants me to buy her car, I cannot afford it because she keeps borrowing other peoples things, breaking them, and I have to pay for it. The latest..she wrecked her best friends car.. it cost $1600, and I have to pay $800 of it... She is having tantrums because I told her no car.
Now for "fishing for poop"...... I had a lot of errands to run after work. K and I did not get home until 9:30. We began our nightly routine...He plays in the tub while I prepare his bag and my clothes for the next day. I am tired, he is in a good mood. I am thinking, things are going well tonight... Once his bath is done, I usually wrap him in a towel and we bond, put on his pj's and he watches a DVD etc.. Then all of a sudden my peaceful thoughts are shattered.... K jumps out of the tub. I rush to the bathroom. Guess what? YES, POOP in the bath water. I have no gloves so I used a Wal-Mart bag... It took 20 minutes to restart his bath.... I am too old for this....

All toddlers are not under 3

I have come to the realization that my daughter, who is 19 and my son who is 17 act like my 2 year old.... So this week I am going to compare them to him.... I looked up the definition of a toddler and it said:

1. One who toddles, especially a young child learning to walk.
1. A size of clothing for children between the ages of about one and three years old.

Also, I decided to use a scripture from my Bible to relate to my subject this week.

I Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things".

FREEDOM!

Kahlyb is gone with his dad for the weekend.. YEAH! I love my son very much... I am just old..... Yesterday afTer his speach therapy we went to the mall and Toys-R-Us... That was a mistake. He wanted every toy... He had aT least 5 temper tantrums..... It was after 9 when we got home. I am tired... I give him his bath..... When bath time was over he was not through playing with Alvin, Simon & Theodore (he named 3 of his Lego blocks, which are red, blue & green)..... When I let the water out, He sat on the drain hole... He said "water not gone mommy..the water is stuck"... That went on for almost 15 minutes... I will always end with this saying.... I AM TOO OLD FOR A TODDLER.......

Almost there!!

We were ready to leave...he was not ready to go..

His sissy was taking to long to take the picture

Not happy in the snow

Wanted to open Easter basket instead of taking pictures

Housekeeping was nice enough to turn our beds back, put chocolates on our pillows and made us a turtle or crab (can't remember) out of towels...... He did not want to take a picture because he wanted to eat the chocolates (they are in his hands).....

I was thinking about how negative I sound when talking about the children.

I was going to talk about how K and I went to Subway.I got a 6 inch sub with no cheese, K got a cheese pizza and a brownie... I was going to talk about how we came home and he wanted the Brownie before he ate his pizza... How i encouraged him to eat dinner then the brownie...How he did just what I asked.. I did not want to be negative tonight.... I wanted to tell you how he watched "Princes and the Frog, and how we danced and sang together..... It was a perfect evening for the toddler K and I... The movie was almost over. I put the potty chair in the living room so he could go when he wanted, and he did. I did not want to be negative.. It was a good evening.. I was not tired and he was very obedient......I did not want to be negative-It was a good evening....Then all of a sudden he decided to turn over his potty chair for no reason at all. A wet spot on my poor rug, with no warning. That is all i have to say........As always... I am too old for a toddler...
