FAITH TO RISE!

John 5:6-8 (King James Version)
"When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk"
Have you ever felt as if you've been in the same situation way too long? Finances not right, family issues, career off track, etc. The situation you desire to change the most is stagnant. When we read about the man by the pool, he had been laying there a long time, and in his condition a long time. He watched others walk into their deliverance, while he still remained the same. He could have given up and went away, but then he would have missed Jesus. There may be times in our lives when no one around us can change our condition, but if we hold on, Jesus is coming by. Even when it seems like everyone else is getting in the pool before us, we can't get bitter or give up. If we allow circumstances to paralyze us, or cause us to quit, we could miss our opportunity to rise and walk into our deliverance.

Mark 9:23
"Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth"

Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint"

It is a blessing to find your solemate. My father passed away in February of this year. Today would have been my parents 55th wedding anniversary.

Proverbs 18:22
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

JESUS BRING THE RAIN

I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray

Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain

I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what's a little rain
So I pray

Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty

GOD'S CAKE

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or
"Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful
explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything
is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up
with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter
if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely
Mom, I love your cake."

"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers.
"Yuck" says her daughter.
"How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?"
"Mom, those are all yucky!"

To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad
all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right
way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! "

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He
would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God
knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they
always work for good! We just have to trust Him and,
eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you.
He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.
He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

Life may not be the party we hoped for,
but while we are here we might as well dance.
